I created this image on a ZTE smartphone using a photo editing app PicsArt.com. You can download the image by right-clicking then choosing ‘save as’.
My mother asked me for a few pictures and I sent the image on this page and a few others. The image above was created using an Android app named PicsArt.
PicsArt is a great photo editing app but it’s a pain in the butt to work with because they show too many advertisements. I know the need to make money, but showing an advertisement every time a user clicks on anything is down right disrespectful of said user’s time.
When I started this blog I never thought I’d be writing a couple years later. I just couldn’t think in terms of ‘the long haul’.
Well, here I am writing another post. I’m still using drugs, but my life has improved a lot.
I’m no longer a crack smoker. Now I use crystal meth. It’s a drug that lasts hours and days depending how much is consumed. A $20 piece can have a user awake for at least 24 hours straight.
Those hours go by fast. I’ve stayed awake for a whole week not long ago. It’s not too cool to stay up that long because you become confused and everything seems so surreal.
At any rate, I am doing a lot better now and I plan to maintain it for years to come. I enjoy having a place to live and I enjoy having food in the refrigerator. Those two things were impossible to maintain for crackheads.

I just finished reading the blog post above and it motivated me to look at my own goals and aspirations for the new year. I’m more than fifty years old and I’ve loved and lost a lot of women and I launched and lost a few businesses, and now, I live alone and I work from home so most of the time I am alone.
Being alone isn’t too bad. After a lifetime of friends and companions it feels good to be alone so I can do whatever I want without having to think of another person’s agenda or needs. My goal this year is to work as hard as I want to and to play hard!
Most days I’m online for more than 12 hours at a stretch, but when I do rest, I’ll binge watch Netfilx for 12 to 24 hours, or until I feel rested enough to begin working again. It’s going to be a good year for everyone.
We Live in a Rapidly Changing Environment Today
Today is nothing like it was yesterday. Sure, people are the same for the most part but we are becoming more tolerant of others as the globe continues to change. We really are living in a small world. We are connected like never before and it’s only going to get better and deeper. It’ll also be easier to change our life if we desire!
There will be a time in the near future when we will be able to communicate with each other simply by pressing a button or two to activate communications. Think of Star Trek and you’ll understand where we’re going as a species.
I’m going to change the man in the mirror because only then, will I be able to create change in my immediate family then spread it outward to the world at large. Let’s see what happens.
The video I’m writing about is a playlist of Leo Babauta who maintains the extremely popular ZenHabits.net blog. I’ve been reading the blog the blog for a few years and he really offers actionable steps which are life changing. Unfortunately, this blog doesn’t allow me to post videos, but there is a link below if it doesn’t come through.
To give you an example, about a year ago I read a post which was meant to help his readers to take action by performing simple tasks. Here’s what he said,
If you have a lot of dirty socks on the floor, you don’t have to place all the them in the hamper at once. Just pick-up one sock. Then the next day, pick-up another sock and do the same thing the following day until all the socks are off the floor.
I coupled that with what a therapist advised me to do. The therapist said, “When you do something good for yourself, or when you perform a task you’ve been putting off, just sit with it for a few minutes.”
Changing My Life from Within
The last post I published discussed how I am changing my life slowly. It is those two things and a few other that are helping me change from within. When I do some good I sit with it for a few minutes.
After a few months of practicing that advice, I stopped beating myself up as much to the point where today it is almost non-existent. And if I begin to beat myself up, I know how to quickly change the thoughts!

I’m so happy! A couple weeks ago I got my laptop running again and a few days ago I installed Windows 10. I recommend you install Windows 10 if you’re on the fence, go ahead and upgrade.
My laptop runs so much better and it’s a little faster on some apps. Right now I’m writing this on my laptop, but I’m using an Android emulator so I’m actually using the WordPress app that’s in the Google Play store. It’s a lot of fun. Windows 10 has more of a smartphone feel than any of the other Windows versions.
